THE HISTORY OF

HOLOMON ASTRONOMICAL STATION

Observations on Mt.Holomon began in the early 2002 using only portable telescopes. The amazing quality of the night sky brought thoughts for a more permanent installation. The acquisition of  the 10 inch Meade LX200 boosted these thoughts and soon fiction became fact as the building of the Holomon Astronomical Station was completed.

The set of pictures below follows the different stages of the Station΄s building process.
