The services of a recently created astronomical data center at Pune (India) can be accessed by telnet to node 144.16.31.6; login as user data. The center currently provides astronomical catalogs which it has obtained by exchange from NASA or CDS, as well as connections to foreign databases for users in India who have no telnet facility. The center plans to archive image data in the future. The catalogs are mostly available on disk, and can be accessed using local software.
