My research interests cover mainly the area of General Relativity. More specifically my research up to now is focused on the area of numerical relativity, i.e. modelling mathematically and solving numerically several interesting astrophysical scenarios of General Relativity. I have studied extensively the equations describing a perturbed slowly rotating neutron star.

The challenge that the community of the GR people face the last 3 decades is the detection of Gravitational Waves from astrophysical sources. The success of this quest will open a new "window" in the Universe and will help Observational Astronomy to understand better big violent phenomena occuring at the center of galaxies containing massive black holes.

So keep following the story of this fairytale to see the end.....
