Thessaloniki has a large selection of hotels that can be booked directly or via the usual travel sites. Early booking is advised, since already in spring there is increased demand for rooms in the city center.

In addition, a number of rooms at selected hotels have been reserved at special prices. Please note that the block reservation will be valid until August 30, 2018, so it is advisable to make your reservation before August 30, 2018. After that, rooms and prices will depend on availability of each hotel.

A detailed description of the hotels with special prices follows:

1) IMPERIAL PALACE HOTEL

A 4-star hotel in the city center. The conference venue can be reached by bus (~20mins).
Around 20 rooms have been reserved at the following special prices:

Single room incl. breakfast: 55 euros/night.
Double room incl. breakfast: 65 euros/night.
Triple room incl. breakfast: 80 euros/night.

Free wifi is included in the room price.

To reserve a room, please register for the school first and then send an email to the organizers at summer2018@astro.auth.gr, asking for the special reservation code that will unlock the above prices during reservation.

2) RENT-ROOMS THESSALONIKI

A student hostel right next to the campus of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The conference venue can be reached on foot (~10mins).

Around 10 rooms have been reserved at the following special prices:

Single room incl. breakfast: 35 euros/night.
Double room incl. breakfast: 45 euros/night.
Double room single occupancy incl. breakfast: 45 euros/night.
