Welcome to the 17th European
Fusion Theory Conference

The aim of the conference is to provide a forum of discussion
for all areas of fusion-oriented theoretical activities.


The conference programme consists of invited
lectures, oral contributions and poster presentations.


The selection of the contributions to be presented
has been made on the basis of abstract submissions.


A special issue of the Journal of Plasma Physics will be
devoted to the presentations given at the conference.


The conference will be held at the Ionic Centre, which is located
at the heart of the historical city of Athens (district of Plaka)
and very close to the Athens centre (Syntagma Square).


The social events of the conference include a welcome reception
(at the Ionic Centre) and a banquet/dinner (at Thissio View).


For oral and written communication in the conference (in submissions,
registration and presentations), the official language is English.
