The conference venue is located in the district of Plaka (main part of
the historical city
of Athens),
at a
walking distance from Syntagma
Square
(Athens metropolitan
hub of
transport services)
and surrounded
by
three metro
stations
(Acropolis, Syntagma, Monastiraki).
The lectures are presented at the Aerides room (floor level 1), and
the poster sessions take place at the Apellis room (floor level -1). The
coffee breaks will take place at the main lobby (ground floor level).
Registrations will take place at the secretariat desk, which is installed
at
the main lobby. The desk will be open on the first day of the
conference from 8.00 to 16.30, and on all other days from 8.30 to 17.00.
Transportation from/to the airport
From/To the airport you can take the metro line 3 to Syntagma Square.
It
runs every 30 min and takes approximately 40 min.
The ticket costs 10 €
and can be purchased at vending machines and ticket offices in the airport.
Alternatively, you can take the bus X95 from/to Syntagma Square.
It runs
every 20 min and takes approximately 50 min.
The ticket costs 6 € and
can be purchased at ticket offices in the airport and from the bus driver.
You can also take a taxi from/to Syntagma Square or the Ionic Centre.
The route takes approximately 45 min and costs around 40 €.
